IF YOU’RE NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION…
Wal-Mart’s announcement that it will participate in a domestic violence public awareness campaign in Oklahoma is a good thing. And perhaps the company will find ways to expand the program nationally and internationally; starting maybe in Georgia?
A Doerun woman was apprehended after she allegedly got into a fight with her boyfriend at Wal-Mart Thursday night.
Victoria Howard, 25, of 217 N. Jones St. in Doerun, was charged Thursday with cruelty to children (third degree) and disorderly conduct.
An officer was called to Wal-Mart on South Veterans Parkway at 8:38 p.m. Thursday and spoke with a witness to the alleged incident. The witness stated she saw Howard allegedly hitting, pushing and yelling at a black male.
And maybe those posters should go up in both male and female areas?
