How would they get wireless access inside a Wal-Mart, anyway?

This is my post from Saturday (in its entirety), introducing the blog “30 Days in Wal-Mart:”

This is either a gigantic scam or these people are nuts.

From tonight’s post
at “30 Days in Wal-Mart” by David Kaye:

Okay I don’t know if I can make anything else up. I love writing, but when your not really in Walmart it’s hard to fake.

To my friends at Wal-Mart Watch: Sorry about this, but after all you were warned.

I can’t speak for these folks, but you can buy a aircard from most cell phone providers that you can plug into your laptop and have internet access anywhere you have cell phone signal – including inside of a WalMart.

I guess you’re right, Bob. Proves what I know about Internet access, but the point of the post still stands.

Oh, I don’t disagree. I was just answering your initial question. Also, I should point out, I often read/post here from work (i.e.: inside of a Wal*Mart store) from my cell phone. In fact, I’m doing it right now. :)

  4. Bob!

That’s time theft! I refuse to take responsibility if you get fired.

Of course, I was on my lunch at the time. ;)
