Regular readers know Wal-Mart’s record on product recalls; even the really dangerous products can hang around for days or weeks. The merely offensive can take months to disappear. So what made Rockband products fly off the shelves after an urgent recall?

so, I just got back from work today (work in the Wal-Mart electronics dept) and we had an “urgent” recall for ALL official Rockband products…

We had over $5000 of stock sent back today without a reason…
Tried to ring it though on the till and says it has been recalled meaning Head office has put the order right across Canada…

This happening anywhere else in the world?

Not in minnesota. I have a close friend that works in the electronics dept. I asked him about it he said they haven’t

Same thing happened at my Walmart here in Canada, so Home office is definitely up to something, but by the looks of it I think its just Canada cause I can’t find any other information on it, if I find anything else I’ll let you know.

We’re still waiting. Anyone have a clue?
