I’ve written here and at Have Coffee Will Write about reciept checks made after you’ve handed over your money at the register. Corey Friedman’s Walmart experience, made me think of Arlo Gutherie’s Alice’s Restaurant Anti-Massacre Movement.

…can you, can you imagine fifty people a day, I said fifty people a day walking in singin’ a bar of Alice’s Restaurant and walking out? And friends they may thinks it’s a movement.

Only this time it will be the Alice’s Restaurant Anti-Big Box Retail Movement.

I don’t think Arlo will mind.
