THINKING OUGHT TO BE HARD…

And when I see a blog titled: Thinking Made Easy — specially when it focuses on business, marketing and management — my bull shit meter goes off. I make no secret of the fact that I hold business marketing professionals generally in contempt.

I do so because they add nothing of real value to the economy but rather do their best to sell a corporation’s specific half-truths and flat out lies. And those exercises in smoke and mirrors begin with business cases like Wal-Mart Provides Meaningful Economic Opportunities To America’s Working Families. I don’t argue that what Joan Idanan has written is not true, but rather that the case is sloppily made and superficial.

Anyone who thinks that thinking about Walmart is easy has another think coming.

    Shalom Dinesh,

First, thank you for stopping in, for reading and, most importantly, for taking the time to write a comment. We build our community with our conversations.

How would you remove the smoke from business?

      Shalom Bob,

      I actually wondered about that.

I did look at the site, but since the url is Dinesh’s name, I wasn’t sure.

Just to be on the safe side, I’ve neutered the link.

      B’shalom,

      Jeff
