But will Walmart buy commercial time on the show?

NBC is developing a half-hour sitcom from thesp-scribe Paul Rust based on his stint as a Wal-Mart employee.
And here’s the really big question, how will NBC handle casting?
Dude, I could totally write for that show.
“What’s the difference between a corded and cordless phone?”
Would I have to pay royalties to the customer who originally asked that question?
