In an unexpected announcement this morning, Wal-Mart said it plans to extend its holiday season discounts beyond December 25th.
Paul Ausick — who works for Wal-Mart and 24/7 choose not to reveal until the very, very, very bottom of the story where people might actually not notice that they have people who work for the company writing about the company on a website that purports to present news to people who invest in the stock market — doesn’t bother to tell us who is all that surprised by his unexpected news.
Retailers have gotten slammed this holiday season. We’ve been writing about it since Black Friday. Ho, ho, ho.
