It is with great shock that I just surfed over to Always Low Prices and read that Kevin Brancato is retiring from blogging about Wal-Mart and folding up that site. If you’re interested in economics, you can still read him at the group blog Truck and Barter.

I seldom agreed with Kevin about Wal-Mart or anything else for that matter, but I still always read him because he is very smart and is very good at finding stories that nobody else does. As the Wal-Mart debate gains more attention, I will miss reading his thoughts on whatever developments ensue.
